We strive to transform the memorial experience by providing compassionate, immediate support, so no one has to navigate loss alone or feel pressured into choices that don’t fit their needs or budget.

Our Mission

To provide thoughtfully crafted memorial products locally so families can receive what they need the same day, without the stress of shipping delays or confusing online purchases. Through community partnerships and monthly giving, we work to lighten the burden of grief and ensure every family, regardless of circumstance, has a dignified way to remember their loved one.

Our Story

Our journey began with jewelry. I started out selling everyday pieces that helped people feel confident, stylish, and connected. One day, a close friend, who happens to be a mortician, called and asked me a simple question:

“Do you sell cremation jewelry?”

At the time, I did not.

But that question changed everything.

It opened my eyes to a real need in our community: families searching for meaningful, affordable ways to honor their loved ones without long delays or overwhelming costs.  The very next day, I began exploring cremation jewelry and urns, and soon after, URN'D Wings was born.

Today, we offer cremation urns, jewelry, and memorial keepsakes designed with dignity beauty and compassion; because that one question helped us realize how deeply families need a local option they can trust.

About Me

Hi, my name is Jaquetta Moore, Founder of URN’D Wings. I currently serve as a Career and Technical Education (CTE) Business Teacher and CTE Director at a local high school in Flint, Michigan. My dedication to education, leadership, and student success has opened doors for me to teach and serve in leadership roles at community colleges and universities across our region.

I was raised by my mother and a loving family who instilled strong values, faith, and integrity in my brother and me. Growing up in a Christian home, church was not optional, it was foundational. That faith continues to guide my decisions, shape my purpose, and ground me in gratitude.

I have been married for nearly 20 years and am blessed with a wonderful son, two grandchildren, and beautiful bonus children and grandchildren who enrich my life in countless ways.

Starting a business like  URN'D Wings was never part of my original plan, but I believe wholeheartedly that it was part of God's plan. The doors opened quickly, the vision aligned effortlessly, and the purpose became clear: to serve my community with compassion, dignity, and heart.  What began as an unexpected opportunity has grown into a calling, one that allows me to support families during some of their most difficult moments.  I don't know exactly what God has in store for me or for URN'D Wings, but my faith is carrying me, sustaining me, and guiding every step. I am committed to walking this path with humility, purpose, and a servant's heart.
